Festival Description

The annual Somatic Movement Arts Festival, Los Angeles, features artists from diverse somatic forms. In a week of workshops and performances we present these mind/body practices to help people toward a wide range of goals, including discovering ease in everyday movement, developing athletic virtuosity, preventing injury, and reconnecting with the self. The SOMA Fest provides an easy forum for individuals to experiment with a variety of somatic practices… The festival was launched in 2006.
