| Festival Description | The Skagway Arts Council, located in southeastern Alaska organizes the annual festival that features not only folk, but bluegrass, jazz, classical, blues and rock. The participating artists hail mainly from Alaska, but is open to all musicians. They should contact the festival coordinator for details. Time slots are based on the number of performances and are generally 15 minutes in length. The festival venue, the First Presbyterian Church, is a 100 year old structure that offers excellent acoustics. The church is located at the corner of Fifth Avenue and Main Street. |
