| Festival Description | The Dance Council presents the Annual Dance for the Planet Festival, the only FREE, family, outdoor dance festival of its kind, celebrating diversity of dance from the greater North Texas community. There’s much to see and do at this two-day dance extravaganza: See performances by 100 dance groups that include Ballet, Ballroom, Modern, Jazz, Tap, Middle Eastern, African, Flamenco, Folklorico, Classical Indian, Aztec, Salsa, Country Western and more…; Kick off with High Noon Hip Hop Showcase & Street Battle featuring Comfort Fedoke; Dance with Comfort: Hip Hop Classes at 2:00 PM & 4:00 PM on both days; Take classes in Salsa, Yoga, Tango, Pilates, African, Belly Dancing & Disco with local professionals; Create at the Children’s Art Zone |
