Festival Description

The Vail Jazz Foundation produces a sizzling summer of live jazz performances in this stunning resort town in the Rockies. The Festival features free outdoor concerts presenting local, regional, and national artists, and the annual Jazz Party over Labor Day Weekend, brings together some of jazz’s greatest artists, as well as a jazz workshop and elementary school outreach programs which support the next generation of jazz musicians and audiences. Past performers have included Ann Hampton Callaway, Wycliffe Gordon, Joel Frahm, Clayton Brothers Quintet, Jeff Hamilton Trio, and many others.
