Earthdance’s SEEDS Festival (Somatic Experiments in Earth, Dance, + Science) is an arts and ecology festival that features interdisciplinary programs in these fields. The Festival encourages innovative practices for the involvement in stewarding the environment through the arts. The diverse program includes workshops, panel discussions, performances, films, and collaborative projects. Ecological research projects and social experiments take place two weeks prior the the community day, where findings are shared with the community at large. The SEEDS Festival’s aim is the interconnectivity between green living, body movement, exploration of issues and science, justice for the earth, reflection of our roles, creativity through art, and the all encompassing sacred aspects of life on earth.
