| Festival Description | Sacramento State’s Festival of New American Music was founded in 1977 and features all genres of new music, which has significantly changed since that time. In addition to performances, master classes are conducted with guest musicians sharing their talents with the students. The students are able to gain valuable feedback from these instructors. Students are given the opportunity to showcase their own talents via the Student Artist Performance Competition and Student Composers Performance Competition. |
