| Festival Description | The "Storici Sbandieratori delle Contrade di Cori" group of men who sought to practice the art of medieval flag waving. Founded in September 1976 by a group of individuals interested in bringing to life the choreography of group performances. The performers include a Herald, a Trumpeters, Drummers and Flag wavers. The colorful flags and costumes in unified motion resurrect the rich tradition of the ancient art. The festival hosts internatinal particpants from Peru, Cuba, Costa Rica, USA, Russia, Kuwait, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Malta, Chile, Venezuela, Australia and all of Europe. Cori is located 40 km from Rome, Italy. |
