The two-day Bridge Festival features a music and sound-art event in Ruse. The program includes an international line-up of artists featured in concerts, performances and sound-installations. Performances take place within the context of European Sound Delta — a three month traveling residency program for artists that encompasses the Rhine and the Danube Rivers. Two boats with artist on board will simultaneously navigate on both European rivers from the North Sea and the Black Sea down to Strasbourg. The artists will perform live and compose sound pieces from recordings made in the crossed cities—ambiences, languages, music. The Bridge Festival is the first stop in this European sound cruise.
