Festival Description

The Chicago Humanities Festival was initiated in 1990 as a one day event to celebrate the riches of our common humanity through the arts. Since that time it has grown to encompass more than six weeks of programming. The cultural festival features today's thinkers, novelists, playwrights, scholars, musicians, historians, artists, performers, theologans, poets, policy-makers, architects, and more—celebrating ideas through renowned and emerging talents in their field of expression!
