| Festival Description | The festival is organized by the Grotowski Institute in the context of Grotowski Year 2009. The festival’s title is inspired by a speech made by Jerzy Grotowski. The mission of the festival is to see work by directors who have played a role in developing different aspects of 20th century theatre. These directors push the envelope on theatre as it is known and are responsible for the transformation of modern theatre as it mirrors society. |
