| Festival Description | Dvořák’s Musical Nelahozeves, a festival recalling the heritage of a renowned Czech composer, takes place from the early spring to the autumn. Apart from the compositions of Antonín Dvořák, a native son of Nelohozeves, the program of this seven-month-long festival features the works of W.A. Mozart, Bohuslav Martinů and Joseph Haydn. The festival, at which hundreds of artists present their art, takes place mainly in the Nalahozeves Chateau. Some of the concerts, however, are also held in the Church of the Assumption in Zlonice and several musical halls in Prague, including The Rudolfinum. |
