| Festival Description | The Jamaica Ocho Rios Jazz Festival began in 1991 as an experimental one-day event. The Festival has since grown and developed to have established itself as a recognized authority for promoting and showcasing distinguished Jamaican and Caribbean musicians. The program features the greatest names in Jamaican Jazz as well as the very best of international fare. The Festival also produces a Youth Program, offers free daily concerts, a Photo Exhibition and many additional events that take place simultaneously throughout the Island—Kingston, Montego Bay, Negril, Runaway Bay, and Ocho Rios. |
