| Festival Description | The Chinese International Violin Competition is a three day festival where the premliminary competition takes place the first day, followed by the next two days of semi-finals and final competitions. Cash prizes are awarded for the gold, silver, and broze awards, In addition to the main awards there are also outstanding performance awards. Those who are eligible to take part in the competitive festival are all students or teachers from professional performing arts academies and every violinist who has reached a professional level is eligible to take part in the competition, provided they are 16 years of age or older.
