| Festival Description | The Edmonton Music Festival celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2008. Since that time the competitive music festival has encouraged talented young musicians by supporting and rewarding their work with adjudicators offering insightful feedback to the budding musicians. The Kiwanis Club began organizing the festival in the 60s and took the festival to another level by increasing the number of venues. The voice, musical theatre and speech arts festival is organized apart from the music festival, but also takes place in Alberta, Canada. |
