| Festival Description | 8 Days in April is an indie music festival featuring a diverse line-up of independent artists from the Northeastern United States—Philadelphia, New York and Boston, and Vermont. The inaugural festival takes place this year and was amazingly organized within a two month period. Organizer Jonathan Albee conceived of the idea in response to the region’s post ski season slump. Through Albee’s connections as a producer he went to work pulling together venues and live acts in record time. He sought out local and regional bands and worked with restaurants and bars in the Manchester area to host the events. The program includes afteroon, evening and late night shows at multiple venues in Manchester. |
