| Festival Description | The history of the international Saint Petersburg Festival begins in the year 1996. Then, the bands performed in the Aleksandrovsky hall of the state Hermitage, in the Summer garden, in the parks of the Ekaterininsky palace in Pushkin, opened the season of fountains in Peterhof. Traditionally International Festival of the military brass bands is included into the official program of the celebration of the city’s birthday. |
