| Festival Description | The Costa Rica International Arts Festival features more than 5,000 artists taking part in over 350 shows and activities. The International biennial event brings together artists from 20 countries with 70 groups and individual artists. The rich and diverse program includes cultural and artistic events—parades, music, dance, theater, opera, magic, clowns, puppet shows, and film. |

- El Parque Metropolitano La Sabana will feature the main events in the open air. Additional venues are posted below. Most venues are located in downtown San Jose, but there will also be several events in Alajuela and Puntarenas.
