| Festival Description | The literary Festival of Words produces year-round events bringing together talented Canadian performers to audiences from all over North America. Each summer, the four-day Saskatchewan Festival of Words celebrates the many imaginative uses of language by promoting literacy, lifelong reading, creative writing and numerous other ventures. The festival features interviews, panels, comedy, drama, music, open-mic sessions, readings and workshops. Over 155 volunteers, a board of directors and a dedicated staff work tirelessly throughout the year to raise funds to make these programs of benefit to all. |

Festival Story:
The Saskatchewan Festival of Words offers 60 events in three days all within a 2-block radius of the attractions of historic downtown Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. Enjoy Canada’s award winning and freshest writers in all genres. Live performances, music, drama, spoken word, film, and tributes. Park the car once all weekend and enjoy literary showcases hosted adjacent to 20 acres of beautiful downtown Crescent Park, in the Moose Jaw Public Library/Museum and Art Gallery Complex. You’ll be back every year, guaranteed!
