| Festival Description | The first blues festival was held in 2005 in Bílina—located in northern region of the Czech Republic. Since then it has become a well-known event in the country. The organizers have been delighted with the great atmosphere and international cooperation that has taken place at the festivals—and their aim is that each year’s festival will be even more successful! The audiences have not only come from Bílina but also from different parts of the Czech Republic, and even from abroad. In addition, there are plans for a selection of bands to perform in satelite concerts in others cities such as Prague, Most, České Budějovice. This year, the Kyselce festival takes place in the open air on July 11, 2009. |
