Fiesta San Pedro is a major annual celebration for the Portuguese community in Melaka. Although mainly a religious holiday marked by a procession of the statue of St. Peter, the week-long festival’s events include traditional games, song and dance-based cultural performances, a food fair, and a “best-decorated boat” contest.
