Festival Description

The Malaysia International Guitar Festival, which takes place on an annual basis, was inaugurated in 2007, in conjunction with the Malaysia Fingerstyle Guitar Competition. It features a diverse combination of concerts and workshops. Musicians come from all over the world to participate, both as performers and attendees; among the 2007 featured performers were Roger Wang (Malaysia), Jorge Orozco (Spain), John Goldie (UK), Don Alder (Canada), and Stan Zamfirescu (Romania).
