| Festival Description | Since 2006 the MusicNOW festival has featured musicians and music that pushes the envelope on how we typically categorize music — out-of-the-box music — created and performed by risk taking artists. MusicNOW is committed to bringing Cincinnati audiences a rich and unique experince by presenting artists of this genre for performances, collaborations, and world premieres. The inaugural festival began with a program of five evenings of music at the Contemporary Arts Center in Cincinnati. Two important traditions were established; festival collaborations among artists and a children’s concert featuring a number of festival artists. The festival is presented by Chamber Music Cincinnati. |
