| Festival Description | Hội An City's Whale Festival celebrates the ocean and the communities of fishermen who live in the region. Worshipers pray to the whale god for protection and prosperity, and the streets and temples of the town (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) are festooned with floral garlands. Entertainment offerings include classical theater performances and traditional folk song concerts. |
