| Festival Description | Toots and Grooves, organized by Philipp Jaser is a two day festival of jam-packed days featuring over 35 bands that includes more than a dozen Ska Bands! The line-up including—Battleska Galactica, The Managers, The WBC, The Offbeats, The ‘Bones and Ska Child. Several emerging artists from the local music scene includes Groove Assembly, Pacific Bass Culture, Black Chrome and The Aviators. Roots music from Ruatahuna based Dave Teka’s Children Of The Mist, local reggae artists Homefire Burning and Concious Roots, artists Three Houses Down, and Wellington Batucada. The line-up also includes ska roots dub DJs Liquid Luke, Duke Willis & Vital Sound System. |
