This 10th jubilee conference will be dedicated to puppetry as an important segment of theatrical art and an unevitable educational mean, particularly in work with children. Among other aims, this conference draws attention to the position of puppetry in our country, as well as to share experiences with others by means of our own development and progress. This conference is intended for all those who believe that theatre art has the power to influence the consciousness of people, their behaviour and to evoke a change—it is intended for all those who believe that by changing the individual we change also the world in which we live. The conference is especially aimed at those who believe that there are no impossible boundaries that cannot be overcome by the force of united human efforts.

We shall explore the potential of drama and its power to create dialogue among different cultures and through workshops and presentations share different working methods. The conference’s practical workshops will introduce different theatrical methodologies. In addition, the conference will present three theatre productions; and an award night of “Grozdanin kikot” will be presented to honor the Contribution to the development of drama education.
