| Festival Description | The World Drums Festival centers on a variety of percussion instruments and drums from all around the world. The 2007 edition’s theme was “Beat of the World”. Groups of drummers performed in 2007, including Enggar & Associates (Indonesia), KOTTSU (Japan), Pathun Thani Nantamuneebamroong School (Thailand), Diplomats of Drum (Malaysia), YAWA Eco Drum Circle (Malaysia), The Trinity Collage, Kandy (Sri Lanka), Rhythm Masala (Singapore), Thang Long Opera House (Vietnam), and Fundación Aje (Venezuela). World Drums Festival includes drummers and percussionists in performance and will feature a Guiness Book attempt at the longest drumming session. |
