The first annual DelFest took place in Cumberland, Maryland in May 2008. DelFest is a family-friendly music festival presenting a stellar line-up of of musicians as well as providing a venue for up-and-coming new talent. Produced by McCoury music in association with High Sierra Music—Delfest will offer a quality festival experience. The family-friendly event will offer up a mix of traditional performances, collaborations, special guest features. Each day enjoy intimate appearances and opportunities to interact with artists, late night indoor performances and impromptu jam sessions. In addition, Delfest is featuring a band competition—with the winners who will participate by returning for the next year’s gathering. The rich program will include children's programs, artisan’s craft fair, and eclectic food court, The atmosphere is designed to create a relaxed setting where festival-goers can simply relax and camp with good friends.
