Festival Description

Founded 2004, Redlands Shakespeare Festival is presented without an admission charge in the stunning outdoor venue of the Redlands Bowl amphitheatre, all Festival performances are conducted for a free-will offering collected at intermission. Thanks to sponsors, individual donors and an appreciative audience, the Redlands Shakespeare Festival is able to provide full-scale productions of the works of the Bard to families of all economic backgrounds. Additional festival events offer visitors an opportunity to join in the celebration of the Festival by attending special VIP Dinners, celebratory events, themed workshops and educational lectures. Join us this May when the community of Redlands matches its Southern Californian spring time splendor with the beauty of the Bard at the Redlands Bowl for Redlands Shakespeare Festival.

    • 3:30pm. – “A Roman’s Life” – An in-depth exploration of the life and times of the Romans, including weapons demonstrations, costumes to try on, and activities featuring artistic director Steven Sabel.
