The month-long festival is an annual initiative of The Greek Orthodox Community of NSW which, every March, stages a number of events that represent the Greek way of life and share their rich cultural and artistic heritage with the rest of Sydney. The Festival begins with its traditional flagship event, Greek Fest Darling Harbour. This is an all day event where visitors can taste traditional Greek food, watch and learn for free traditional dances from all regions of Greece by the water, participate in a Mosaic workshop, test your soccer skills, laugh at comedians or simply just soak up the culture and celebrate it with your family and friends. |
