| Festival Description | The Bildes Music and Art Festival is a medley of music and contemporary art. Founded in 1985 during the Soviet period, it is one of Latvia’s leading music festivals. The musicians and artists cross-over to perform in the musical as well as the visual arts categories. The festival over time has evolved with the times to take into account new trends and at the same time honors traditional arts. The festival’s music program takes place over six days with a variety of shows by international and national artists. |
