| Festival Description | Tapology Dance Festival is for youths and their study of tap dance, it’s history and its impact on contemporary life, art and entertainment. It is a community sponsored event started in 2001 around the phrase coined specially for this festival… Tapology. The Festival honors Tapologists—Master tap dancers, who contribute to the future of Tap Dance as an art form, setting an example by maintaining performance excellence, and educating the public about the rich history and culture of the dance. Tap Dance Instruction via professional contemporary and historical performing artists, has earned Tapology a name for quality workshops, historical education and concert performances. |
