| Festival Description | The World Music Days presents a multi-layered program in order to assure cultural and social variety of events. The program will consist of several large scale projects, including music theatre. There will also be symphonic, vocal, choral, and chamber music concerts, interdisciplinary and multimedia events, sound installations, and an extensive programme of academic and educational events. The international new music gathering of ISCM World Music Days takes place in a different city each year. The festival has invited composers from all over the world to submit works for this occasion. Two focus composers are selected each year and will be part of an international jury selecting works which underline the chosen festival theme. |
