| Festival Description | The inuguaral Roland Piano Festival’s theme for 2008 will be “Inspire the Enjoyment of Creativity”. Roland Asia Pacific Sdn Bhd will be hosting its first Roland Piano Festival. Registration for this event is now open and will close on November 30th, 2007. This event provides an opportunity for pianists from all over Malaysia to showcase their talents in each of their specific fields—be it in the classical or the jazz genre. The heats, which will be held at various locations in the country, are scheduled for January 7 and 8, 2008 where every participant will be judged, and thereafter finalists will be selected to compete in the Grand Finals. Attractive awards and prizes await the participants such as a trip to Japan to witness the 6th RMS Fantastic Piano Concours in March 2008, select Roland products, cash prizes and an assortment of music publications. |
