| Festival Description | The Charlie Parker Jazz Festival assembles some of the finest musicians in the world who reflect on Parker’s musical individuality and genius, to promote appreciation for this highly influential and world-renowned artist. The Festival takes place at the Marcus Garvey and Tompkins Square Parks and is a part of the City Park’s Foundation Summer Stage. Summer Stage offers multiple artistic events in parks throughout the five boroughs of New York City. A broad range of free arts, sports, and education programs are on the roster each summer.
