| Festival Description | The Summerfolk site is erected by scores of volunteers, artisans, food vendors and others and takes on the appearance of a small village. It features a 4,000 seat amphitheatre, a 2,000 seat licensed area and 6 side stages. 42 artisans exhibit their talents in the Artisan Village and 18 local food vendors provide a wide selection of tasty food choices. We have a great dance stage with contra and other types of dance all weekend. The Friday evening Young and Hungry concert for young musicians is very popular. This years performers include: James Keelaghan, Flashlight Radio, Tim Harrison, Paul Mills, Jacob Moon, Peggy Seeger, Swamperella, Tanglefoot, Valdy, Susan Werner, Trout Fishing in America, the Lighthouse Swing Band and many many others. |
