| Festival Description | The Ottawa International Jazz Festival is the National Capital Region’s première music event. In its twenty-third year of consecutive programming and operation, the OIJF is the second longest continuous-running jazz festival in Canada, and boasts the biggest loyal audience of any event in eastern Ontario! It also claims credit for having presented some of the most dynamic jazz artists on the scene today, such as Tony Bennett, Wynton Marsalis and the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra, Branford Marsalis, Stanley Jordan, Courtney Pine, Sonny Rollins, Terence Blanchard, Diana Krall, D.D. Jackson, Maynard Ferguson, John Mayall, and Salsa Celtica, to name a few. |
