| Festival Description | Estate Romana Festival offers a diverse program of jazz, rock, classical music, film, sport, theatre and children’s entertainment. Multiple venues throughout the city of Rome include parks, courtyards, art galleries and around ancient monuments. The program features entertainment from around the world in Rome’s historic venues—there is even a cabaret festival held near the Colisseum on Oppio Hill. Overlooking the Tiber River on Gianicolo Hill in Trastevere there are late-night open-air screenings of popular films that are projected on massive screens in Vittorio Emmanuele Square. |
