Since 1961 the Flamenco Festival takes place in the small mining town of La Unión, in Murcia. The program features national and international musicians, singers and dancers that celebrate the artistry of Flamenco into the early hours of the morning. Some of the world’s most prestigious flamenco artists perform at the event to compete for prizes awarded to the best flamenco singer, dancer or guitarist. Held for almost half a century the festival is one of Spain’s most important Flamenco festivals.
