PrairieFest… A Celebration of the Arts is celebrating its 47th year in 2010. Traditionally, this festival has been host to Fine artists and craftsmen, and musicians. This year, culinary art and botanicals will be added to the festival program. In recent years, there has only been an estimation of festival attendance, which ranges from 2,000-8,000. PrairieFest has a well established purchase pledge program assuring sales for the artists in attendance. The festival is held in a lovely shaded park with space for approximately 85-100 booths. The festival began in 1963.
