| Festival Description | Meltdown Festival is held at Royal Festival Hall at Southbank Centre in London. Each year a notable musician acts as artistic director and curates the festival. Meltdown has the honor of having the bands and musicians chosen by a succession of these well established musicians who each present a line-up of their choice. The Festival has been curated by Patti Smith, John Peel, David Bowie, Morrissey, Massive Attack, Richard Thompson and Antony (2012). |
