| Festival Description | The festival has presented all genres of blues from boogie-woogie, classic blues, Chicago urban blues and jump blues. Artists who have performed on the festival stages have included: The Fabulous Thunderbirds, The Tragically Hip, Lonnie Brooks, Colin James, Rod Piazza, Marcia Ball, Duke Robillard, Long John Bladry, Mitch Ryder, Maria Muldaur, Amos Garrett, The Holmes Brothers, Charlie Musselwhite, Odetta, Ray Bonneville, The Nighthawks, Sugar Ray and the Bluetones, Omar and the Howlers, Tracy Nelson and John Hammond. Fifteen nightclubs also participate and performers have included: Downchild, The Twisters, Georgette Frye, Michael Jerome Brown, Paul Reddick and the Sidemen, Chris Chown, Dan Akroyd with Who's Your Daddy, Jack de Keyser, Dave Rotundo, Morgan Davis, David Gogo, JW Jones, Michael Pickett, Raoul and the Big Time, Roxanne Potvin, and many, many more. |
