| Festival Description | COFESTIN organizes the Donia Festival with four evenings that bring together famous Madagascar groups. The program includes sporting, social and cultural manifestations including a very colourful carnival opening in which the town of Nosy Bé joins in. Since 1999 Donia is still running and worthy of its name—Beautiful Life. Artists from throughout the Indian Ocean came to enjoy the professional sound system of 80kw, and close to 100kw of light. Donia is covered increasingly each year by press and media (Press of Madagascar, Reunion, France, South Africa… French television, and Madagascar and South Africa, redistribute the program in Europe, the Indian Ocean and Africa). |
