| Festival Description | Shanghai Young SDAC Festival 2008 is a performing arts festival for children and young people. The festival is hosted by Shanghai Dramatic Arts Center who is the prestigious theatre in producing and presenting contemporary performing arts both home and abroad. Shanghai Young SDAC Festival 2008 will corporate with Danish Arts Council, ASSITEJ Denmark to present 10 performances from Denmark including children theatre, musical, physical theatre, mime, installation theatre, dance, and creative performances that represent the New Tales from the fairyland. Festival program will include shows for public and for presenters & professionals, workshops, seminar, outreach progrom in schools and community, cultural tour and festival party. The Festival is an annual event which will take place in Shanghai from the end May to early June, the invited theatres will be on tour to many other regions and cities across China to meet Chinese audiences and professionals. |
