| Festival Description | Halifax comes alive with the eclectic festival featuring the best of the East Coast along-side a strong international line-up. Concerts, clubs, outdoor showsand workshops. Jazz East Rising is a non-profit organization formed in 1987 to present the first ever Halifax Jazz Festival (formerly called the Atlantic Jazz Festival) in Halifax. Jazz East has widened its horizons beyond the successful Jazz Festival to become involved, throughout the year, in a diverse range of musical and educational activities. |
