| Festival Description | The James Burton International Guitar Festival brings together an eclectic mix with a line-up of award-winning, guitar-picking jazz, country, and pop guitarists. Events take place at Shreveport’s Festival Plaza and the Municipal Auditorium with a kick off party entitled “James Burton & Friends Concert with Party”, followed by “Guitar Showdown”—a guitar competition for local talent. The culmination of events is hosted by Actor John Goodman with “James Burton & Friends Concert”. |
