| Festival Description | Each year from June to August the Iford Festival takes place in the exquisite Peto Garden of Iford Manor in Wiltshire. The award-winning garden with its intimate and unique performance space — a finely wrought Italianate cloister — combine to create a magical experience. In this captivating, intimate setting, opera performances in English are staged in-the-round for an audience of 90 in the miniature Italianate cloister. Popular and informal free flowing jazz promenades together with two seated cloister concerts complete this year’s festival. All events offer the chance to relax over a pre-show picnic, whilst enjoying the peaceful tranquility of the Peto Garden as the river Frome gently meanders through the Iford valley. |

Festival Story:
The gardens open for picnics at 6:00pm. Performances are unaffected by wet weather — when picnics may be taken in the tearoom. Wine and complimentary coffee are available. Iford Arts, a registered charity, was founded in 1993 to promote performances primarily in the Peto Garden of Iford Manor by the best of the young generation of professional performers.
