Festival Description

The Daimonji International Exchange Festival has been held annually in August since 1979 in conjunction with the Daimonji Bonfire Festival (Daimonji Okuribi) with the goal of promoting international exchange through music in Kyoto and elsewhere. Leading international and Japanese musicians participate in the Festival, with Alberto Lotto as director.
