| Festival Description | Takefu International Music Festival is held throughout Echizen City, not only in dedicated venues such as the Echizen City Cultural Centre, but also in Buddhist temples, Shinto shrines, restaurants, local schools and other interesting locations. The choice of venues helps to develop warm friendships between visiting international artists and the citizens of Echizen City and the surrounding areas. The Festival also incorporates the Takefu International Composition Workshop that enables young composers to get together to cultivate their skills, thereby contributing to the further development of music in Japan and supporting young composers’ music activities. |
