Festival Description

Since 1977, DanceAfrica has taken place on an annual basis at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. Atistic Director Chuck Davis brings together international and national dance troupes to celebrate the diverse cultures of Africa. Each Memorial Day weekend DanceAfrica offers a program of dance, music, art, and film events as well as the popular DanceAfrica outdoor bazaar.
