Miramar Jazz Festival

This international festival started in 2005, and it gathers jazz musicians in Miramar, a city in the Atlantic coast of Buenos Aires. The festival offers six days of free concerts, jazz clinics, and a photograph exhibit. The 2007 edition is dedicated to the great Leandro “Gato” Barbieri, an internationally known Argentine jazz musician. The 2007 edition features prominent musicians from Argentina, Cuba, Venezuela, Brazil and England. The venue hosting the event takes place at the Hotel “Puerta del Bosque”. The Festival “Jazz in Miramar” has been declared an event of Cultural Municipal interest by the Government of the Buenos Aires Province.
